ABOUT
I am a Queensland local, having grown up in Cairns, and spent much of my life exploring the spectacular landscapes in the state. These landscapes are what inspired me to pursue my vocation as a geologist. In 2020, I graduated with a PhD in Sedimentology from James Cook University, specialising in Permian to Cretaceous basins of eastern Australia.

My other research interests include working with palaeontologists to provide context to flora and fauna discovered in sedimentary basins, as well the study of continental trace fossils.

Since 2021 I have been working as a geologist in the coal mining industry in Central Queensland, gaining expertise in exploration, coal quality engineering, and pit geology.
